Partitioning

I have gone out and purchased Patition Magic 7.0. I would like to know if anyone has been successful in installing Win 98 after installing XP. Do I have to dump my HDD and install 98 and then XP like the book says?

if you are trying to just do a fresh install with XP, there is no reason to first install 98. Just reboot from the XP cd and format the HD and install XP

i know with pmagic you can hide the partition...then install win98 ...unhide the xp part... and do a bootcfg/fix to fix the ntloader never tried it though like to keep things simple install 98 then xp will work everytime...or just ghost the winxp partition format reinstall and put the image back.
