Partition Magic!

My first experience with this incredible piece of software was with PM6. was a Newbie then and needed something simple. They had an additional software called MagicMover which could move around installed software to any drive or folder and make the registry settings, etc on its own. In PM7, this is missing!! Does anyone know of any other alternative for MagicMover?

I checked out that software. It says it does not actually move the files, just the link, registry entries, etc.
I want to move the files so that i can format the partition and install Linux, doubt that software will work. thx anyway

pm7 worked great when i used it but i only used it to partition my hard drive nothing more
