I had a crach and after that XP won't see E:
E: is a partition on a disk with two partitions XP says it's unformatted so does part.magic.
W98 still sees the content and sees it doubble so there it became D: and E: while part.magic says it's unformatted.

I am puzzeled if anyone has an idea .....

If I were you I would use 98 to back up the anything on the drive that you need, and then wipe out that partition.

Another thing you might want to do is to run the diagnostic software made by the drives manufaturer to make sure tht there is no physical damage to the drive.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
