Hey guys,

I have recently reformatted a Panasonic CF-47 Laptop to Windows XP. I pretty much got everything squared away with the exception of the Audio drivers. From multiple sites, I had found this Yamaha driver that is supposed to work with it. Unfortunately I'm to the point now everytime Windows starts and finds a new device, it automatically installs the Yamaha driver (I think it's a Windows provided driver!) When you go into the system properties, you can see a ! next to the driver name, and it says that the device cannot start..

I have tried various drivers but have had no luck with anything working for this laptop. This MDT has to have sound for alerting purposes. Can someone please help me find an equivalent driver so that I can get this working? The motherboard says it's a "Matsuhita" (sp?) motherboard...

Thanks!

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
