I am reading this recommendation from MS on

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;197379

It recommends that I should put my pagefile onto another partition on another harddisk all together for better performance. How can I accomplish this feat of true wizardry? Is it worth it for me? If I am gonna do this, How should I do it, what should I look for? Thanks in advance......

See here for an example and info.

I have a fixed, shared (98se and XP Pro) page file on my second (and faster) drive.

Thanks a whole bunch, Terminator....

couple of things that havent been covered

1 . startup & recovery / system failure / : - set this to none,
( or you could leave a small pagefile on your bootdrive for a kernal dump )

2. leave about 10% free space on your page file partition

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
