Hi

I've changed from an internal 56k modem to an 640Kbps ADSL connection (with an USB external modem)

Now - softwares like Kazaa and iMesh don't work like before..
I can't find even the most popular things (lets say for example "gta3"). When I had the 56k connection I succeeded to find them.

Is there a reason why I can't find them now?
Do I need to cange somethings in the softwares' configurations?

BTW -
From the web I'm downloading fast, but from the P2Ps I download like I was downloading with the 56k... 4\5\6 Kbps..
What is the problem?!

what I would do is uninstall them completely, then reinstall them, they should pick up the new settings for your internet connection, if they don't feel free to ignore everything before this.

dont use P2P, cause it just sucks.

use FTP.

and try using Kazaa Lite.

rite now i hate P2P but so far Kazaa Lite is ight

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?

Impressed you have kept this alive this long EP! So many sites have come and gone. :(

Just did some crude math and I apparently joined almost 18yrs ago, how is that possible???
