When the core center software to over clock my cpu i lose sound? any reason why? it's onboard sound.

not sure.. I had the same motherbaord and a 3.0c processor... no problems with sound for me either with onboard or with my audigy...

make sure your agp/pci lock is functionining... a good guide to overclocking your product is available on msi's forums in their P4 forum section..

overcloking shouldnt really affect onboards sound, but ive seen cases when it causes crackling noises on a pci sound card.

oh you really shouldnt be using software to oc, its far better to do it from the bios.

oc'ing w/o agp/pci locks or having the locks enabled or in place... or working off improper dividers oc's the pci bus... some devices don't like this and there is the possibility of some conflicts or issues arising due to this...

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
