Overclocking a Tyan Trinity 400

I Have a Tyan 1854S Trinity 400 MB
Running a P3 1ghz flipchip processor.
(the MB supports both 370 and slot-1)
I have the latest addendum for the jumper settings, but they
stop at 1064 (8x multiplier and 133fsb)
Wondering if anyone out there is OCing one of these, and would
like a little input before I "fry" something.

I had the same board and 933 mhz chip and it was an overclocking nightmare. Not a very good board to overclock with.

I just couldn't get it stable.

Yeah good idea, even in the hardware reviews on the net they said it wasn't a overclocking board......but it served me fine otherwise as i'm sure yours does.

The price was right, one of our vendors offered it to me for $80, I told him $50 tops, he countered that $50 was too much, so he just gave it to me for free.
$125 for the 1gig, rest from my burnt system (power supply dropped voltage to the cooling fan on the processor, fried several of the onboard chips (Soyo 5emh) but the AMD K6-2 500 wasn't hurt. It was hot enough for the Heatsink come unstuck from the processor.
Made sure this case has some extra fans, but if the PS drops out, not sure if anything would have helped.
