How do I delete thoese folders. This is MS oulook not outlook express. The calender ect.

Can you explain a little more what you're trying to do? I don't think you can delete the inbox (or any of the folders listed) unless possibly you delete all mail accounts, etc. Why would you want to? You can hide them, or empty them, but delete them? Please clarify....

I would like to hide the notes an other folders that I do not use.

You might want to use the Outlook Bar and not the folder view. This way you can add and remove any links you want. I dont think you can delete any needed folders in the folder tree and believe me you dont want to. Use the Outlook Bar.
