I asked the along time ago but since all is cleaned need to know again.
Outlook files are saved under what extentions or where can ifind them at?
i thought it was .xbe but when i search it doesn't find any messages.

razor will that program save the contact list and all? i tried to just forward it to the account but instead of the user that sent origional it was using the teachers name.

It saves it, but getting it to show up is a different story. I can't really remember what I did.

ok i figured it out,it loads a thing on outlook that will say "personal folders" and inside it is the old stuff. Its agreat program thanks a lot

Outlook Backup Tool... yep.. backs up address book/bookmarks too if I remember correctly.

But make sure you verify that it's made a good back up.. and it isn;t corrupt. I skipped this bit, took me a while to unpack it using other means... hassle which can be avoided.

Yes, it will. If you format and want to recover your data, open Outlook. File | Open | Outlook Data. Once you open the backup file, you can copy over contacts, notes, etc.
