Outlook Problem. . .

Whenever I close Outlook, Outlook.exe remains as a running process.

If I open and close it 5 times, there will be 5 Outlook.exe running that I have to end.

What is up w/ this? How can I fix it?

I also noticed that I have 5 svchost.exe running. 3 under system, 1 under local service, 1 under network service. Are the 3 under system normal?

the multiple svchost.exe's are normal...i'm not sure how to go about fixing your outlook problem though.

This is a fairly common issue that many people over the years have experienced since Outlook 97. It typically occurs when someone has an add-in or something tying into Outlook that doesn't release properly. Examples can be found in the KB articles below.
