Hi
I heard about MSOE Mail Counter for your desktop in one of the other forums and thought Id give it a try. Install seemed fine... when I tried to run the program, it gave me a "run-time error 429; Active X component cant create object" Could I need to update my active X?.. and if so, how?

Thanks a ton

that error usually means a .dll file did not get registered correctly,

uninstall the program and then re-install it and see if that fixes it. :D

Thanks Ice, but...

...Im still getting the same result. I uninstalled the program, deleted the install file, downloaded it again from a different source, and it is still telling me there is a run time error.

any other thoughts?

well dang it, there goes that theory, let me think about it ....... I'll get back to you .....

same thing has happened to me whenever i tried to install it

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
