its being stopped as a Standalone app, but it will continue to come with Windows, so you want the next version you gotta pay the price tag for the next windows OS

Basically there's no more OE.
Towards businesses they are going to say that you should be using Outlook anyway (expense, not -all- businesses want to use that virii haven, or want to buy the MS Office suite)
Towards end users, they are going to try and get everyone using MSN (more expense, subscription based services, yeck)

Myself? I'm sticking with the free and open source ThunderBird mail client thankyouverymuch.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
