outlook express problems

I exported an account from one computer to another, both computers have no problem receiving email

but the computer I exported to can't send

I looked at the acccount, and the info is identicle

any ideas?

there is norton on the box that's not working

Hi Perris, as an IT tech supporting home users, I have come across this several times whilst rebuilding systems after software got trashed.

90% of the time it is resolved by creating a new account and retyping all the data in again.......I know, I know ...it negates the point of exporting the profile and if the data is exactly the same, then why the fek does the original not work???

And if I knew the answers to all the soppy quirks in Bill's software, I would be laying on a beach instead of stuck in this godforsaken office!
