Outlook express and hotmail

Probably a stupid question, but are there any alternate mail client programs that work with hotmail's http servers besides outlook express?

And what's the deal with people saying that you have to have the "pay" version of hotmail to use it in outlook express? It still works just fine for me and I never heard anything official about that. Does anyone actually have a problem with it for that reason?

Cool, thanks for the links. I'll have to try it out. I'm assuming it works with xp cuz it's nt/2000, right?

I'm assuming so too, haven't tried it myself. Let me know how it turns out.

I have installed the Hotmail one but now what do it do to check the email....anyone have the settings to put into my Email CLient?

I forgot what are the pop and smtp yahoo uses ?

pop.mail.yahoo.com ?

smtp.mail.yahoo.com ?

Ant -|- One I don't use yahoo - but I have mine set to:

My incoming mail server = POP3
Incoming Mail(Pop3) = mail.comcast.net
Outgoing Mail (SMPT) = smpt.comcast.net

I can only guess that yahoo would be the same except with the yahoo.com

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
