Outlook 2003 - Rules/Filters

I'm new to the whole 'rule' setup and wonder if someone could tell me or point me into the direction of how to set a rule up that would:

- download emails ONLY from users that exist in my address book to my inbox (like normal)
- emails that are NOT from users in my address book goto either the junk bin or trash bin or deleted

Sounds simple, but as a newb to rules, it isn't.

Go to Tools>Rules and Alerts>New Rule>Start from Blank Rule. Check messages when they arrive will be highlighted. Click on NEXT, and you will get a list of rules. Scroll down and choose "When sender is in address book" and choose the address book in the lower window. Continue on with the wizard to complete it. You can read more about rules at Office Online Here Hope this helps to get you started.

Hey EP! All good with me, applying for Microsoft MVP right now, should have done this a while ago.

Notifications don't work, I only found your response by coming back to hunt up some threads, if you want, give me your email address so we can keep in touch easier!

EP, glad to see you come back and tidy up...did want to ask a one day favor, I want to enhance my resume , was hoping you could make me administrator for a day, if so, take me right off since I won't be here to do anything, and don't know the slightest about the board, but it would be nice putting "served administrator osnn", if can do, THANKS

Been running around Quora lately, luv it there!
