OT: Hopefully someone can help

Its for a DVD Player under Win98. Its a Creative PC-DVD 5x with a Inlay Decoder card CT7160. I have installed all the correct drivers that I acquired from Creatives website. I just keep getting an error about it not being plug in or the software isn't installed correctly. That the software got some error while initializing.

Try removing your dvd rom player,and soft ware.THEN install the software and driver,s first,Then connect dvd rom,and see if that cures the prob ,win 98 is not that good at plug and play????
