Yes mate, I think its $40 and it will download everything it needs, of course.
The only difference is that on the CD version, you get a few now public HL2 movies and a small chance someone has already stolen the CDkey

I haven't checked it today, but they have been having problems of late.
Last few times I logged in either my friends list was completely empty or I was logged in as _A_W_S_ something or other. It's a known problem tho, so I am not too fussed.
