OS/2 or Non OS/2

From memory OS/2 was a term used to denote windows 95 second (B) edition, but perhaps something else since.

OS/2 is an operating system developed by IBM. It was initially develeped as a joint project between Microsoft and IBM. However due to differences they split and MS went on to develop Windows NT. Wndows XP is based on the NT kernel.

OS/2 was never used to denote any version of Windows. You're probably thinking of Windows 95 OSR2 or Windows 95b as its also known by. OSR2 stands for Official Service Release 2.
