Does anyone here use the Orange network on a monthly tariff?
If so, would anyone know if Orange charge for calls made to 0870 numbers?
I'm thinking of migrating to Orange because I found a deal that has 12 months line rental free (via cashback) and 400 anytime minutes for 1st 6 months.
I'd probably stick with O2 if Orange do charge for calls made to 0870 numbers.

Yes, as far as i know Orange do charge for 0870 numbers.

I used to use Orange. They charge for all calls except those to normal landlines/mobiles which fall under any free air time bundle they provide.

Annoying!

I like O2 very much because they allow the free air time to be used on calls to 0870 numbers. Only drawback on O2 is that they don't do rollover minutes - not that I have any spare at end of month.

Might have to sacrifice this and get calling cards instead to make international calls. Might even work out cheaper at the end of 12 months.

I get 400 free minutes a month and every month since the first I've had 800 to use
