Has anyone any experience of optimising the radeon IGP series graphics on a laptop computer?

I've just recently pruchased a Sony Vaio and the basics are 2.8 Ghz, 1 GB RAM with 128 Mb dedicated to the graphics.

I've been throught he tweaktown optimising route which worked fine on the desktop but haven't noticed much gain on my laptop.

Any general laptop optimising tips welcomed too 🙂

its basically a 9100 series card afaik... look for tweak guides for a 9100 series gfx card but keep in mind your IGP is likely a highly streamlined version (ie likely half pipelines/tmu's)

np m8... keep us posted on whether you managed to tweak it out or not... will help if someone else has a similar question in the future 🙂

Will do - I'm using SOF2 as a "benchmark" would be useful to know how to display frame rates...

google a small app called FRAPS...

you can take a screenie for fps @ any given time.. I believe when you finish running the app it displays average info incl min/max fps...
