Good question, to which I cannot remember, good you are keeping people on their toes.

<edit> the excitement got the better of me having to wait since Tuesday  must have thought I had clicked the right forum and not noticed I hadn't.

Thanks for that Lee I have been using the Beta 8 version, so now I have the final version.

Opera's site still has 7.54u2 as the latest stable release.

A friend of mine just started working for Opera. He's been on my back for not installing Opera yet. I guess I'm going to have to install it anyway... :)

Ya still gotta pay for the damn thing?

Never tried Opera, it any good?
I guess I will have to check it out to make sure OSNN renders ok

It was O.K. not bad really. I used it up till ver 7 (don't as where or how:rolleyes: ).

Always good to have a few browsers ta check what ya html. :)

well my code is pretty much completely valid, only ever broken by the odd news article throwing a non-general ascii character in there.

I used Opera years ago for a while. Was ok at the time. No real interest in it now though. Although i should give it a whirl to test out web pages and stuff

The older ones sucked, they seemed to have wittled out the web view, flash, activex, etc bugs with it in this version. About the only things I see wrong with it is that all the links are blue (Makes it difficult to see them on certian color web sites), and on some password protected sites you have to log in twice ...

Other than that, they improved it ... I seem to like it better than Firefox .. Then I don't really use it enough to decide. So far I like it better than firefox ..

[edit] O.k, I figured how to change the link color. tools/Preferences/web pages/normal link color. Changing that will change the color of links color to what you want. [/edit]

Would give it a shot if there were a Mac version of 8.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
