Hi -is there a way to have all hives of users on a machine loaded before they logon? I want to edit some keys for some users before they logon and since I can't do it in the ntuser.dat file of each user I need to do it in the registry, but their hives only show up after the login.
thanks! 🙂

I am running XP Home which doesn't have gpedit...in any event, are you saying that there is a setting in gpedit which says "load all user hives before logon"?
thanks!

Perhpas there is another way - does anyone know anything about the reg.exe support tool? Does it work on XP and can I call it from within a VB program?
thanks!
