opening my cd drives

I suddenly have a message stating that "Windows cannot find MMJBLAUNCH.EXE. This file is needed for opening files of type "Audio CD." I can play them my inserting them in the tray, but cannot launch from the icon or my shortcuts to them. Any idea what I can do? Dell said to call software which charges $29.00 per incident. I think there must be an easier way around it than that.

Thanks, Danny:confused:

Found this at another site>
The file mmjblaunch.exe is part of Musicmatch Jukebox. Based on the error message, I would guess the program was deleted or uninstalled incorrectly.

If you reinstall Musicmatch, it should solve this problem. You can download it from www.musicmatch.com.

If you don't want to use Musicmatch Jukebox to play your CDs and you want to revert back to Windows Media Player, you can simply go to Tools, Options, Formats and reselect CD Audio File there. That way, Windows Media Player will open when you insert an audio CD.

Hope it helps.

Thanks Doofus, it worked like a charm. No, I didn't reinstall, I just went to tools and options as you said. Thanks again!

Danny:)

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
