Open source links please

Well - since my offer of free coding services only solicited one PM response to date (thanks, you know who you are!) I thought I'd make another thread asking for any useful links further afield in the interweb...

Since I know there's a big bad world of open souce out there (think I have a sourceforge login somewhere from the distant past) and there has got to be a way I can employ my desire to code to useful effect, does anyone have any links to give me a headstart on finding my way into that arena?

I'll post back here anything I find for myself just to improve OSNN, but meanwhile hope to get some starter ideas here
