Only Motherboard

Is this the only motherboard that supports DDR3 & Quadcore/Dualcore? Can it only use DDR3 memory or can I put in DDR2 MEM?

I can't find it on the ASUS Site, they are down but.

They don't exactly say if you can use both DDR3 AND DDR2

thought you were going to get an p5n32-e sli ? - most sites atm are saying that DDR3 is not worth the money

Did you try to search for a review of the board?

From the specs listed in this review it appears that board is DDR3 only.

Yea I watched a video review, but not much was said on that.

I guess that is the only downfall for that board, that it wont support DDR2.

What happens if I put DDR2 into it?

either it will work at the speed its supposed to - if DDR3 is backwards compatible (slots that is not the mem) or it wont work

Not possible as the slot for DDR2 is different than DDR3.
You would have to get a board that supports both DDR2 and DDR3 (has both types of slots).

thats why i said if it was backwards compitable - i havent looked at DDR3 in great detail as the price is stupid atm, plus i have no need for it.....yet

Well sorta, its not as good as a MB, but arg I don't know what to do....cause DDR3 is really not worth it now.

I think I am going to do it. I think this time around I am not going to be smart, and I am going to spend money on something I just want to. Overall I think it's a better choice, it's just the RAM that is not a good choice at the moment. But F IT!
