I was wondering if there was a way to make a folder or drive on my PC a server so that i could access it through the internet, what software would i need and how easy would it be to do. Also how easy would it be to hack as well, i have NIS 2003 installed , would this be sufficient.

i think you probably need an FTP Server 😀
depending on the software, it can be very easy or very difficult. my favorite FTP server is BPFTP Server (not free). there have been a few other threads about "the 'best' ftp server".
as for hacking...i wouldn't worry about it, just don't store sensitive data on it if you can avoid it.

http://www.microsoulv3.com/Files.htm....then look for HFS File Server. I unno if that would work...but it might?
