onboard ac97

I just thought of something ... should i or do i have to turn off the ac97 audio in the bios? i installed the soundblaster card and still ahve the ac97 on. Im not sure if i need this or not.

Should i turn it off? Again i know nothing about software ... probably a lame question or a request for info ... but i really dont know.

Turn it off and see what happens? Can't hurt....

MOst likely you would see that when you opened your device manager, but you dont need to know anything about software, so like master said, turn it off, wont hurt... might even free up an IRQ..
