Old restore points

Anyone know how to purge old restore points, there really is only need for retaining maybe 1 or 2 a month.

Just how large is a single restore point anyway?

You need to gain access to your System Volume Information folder (see link here: http://www.tweakxp.com/idealbb/view.asp?topicID=4147). You can then selectively delete old restore points.

Open My Computer...Highlight and right click the C: drive icon... Properties...Disk Cleanup...More Options...System Restore...click Clean up button.

You will get a message asking if you are sure you want to delete all but the latest restore points.
