Off to Asia!

I'll be taking off for a year Korea tomorrow (nearly 30 hours in airports and planes...ick), so I'll be missing NTFS for few weeks while I wait for my own computer. I'll have to catch up on my computer news after I get my machine shipped over. Hope to see everyone again soon!

Computer parts in Korea

I spent 12 years in Korea (1987-1999) and can tell you that computer parts are readily available on the local economy. Since your gonna be there for a year, I take it you are US Military. You can get parts on base also, but better deals are off base, especially if you can make it to Seoul. There is a HUGE computer market in Seoul where you can find just about anything.

Thanks so much!! I will be at Humphreys (lil' USAF detachment there), so I'll catch a bus to Seoul. Three more hours till I fly away...
