I had an Geforce 4 card and I changed it for a Radeon 9700 pro.

I unistalled the drivres of the nvidia through cp and then installed the radeon.

There are 2 files left from nvidia, nv4_disp.dll in System32 and nv4_min in System32\drivers.

I tryed to remove them with NFR 0.71 but it didnt work.

I tryed to remove them manually but they are allways back...

How to remove the left drivers ? ?

i think you cant delete the nv4_disp.dll
because its a the windows standart driver too

There should be a basic display driver . Maybe you can change the extension in S. M. then DEL.

There is no need to remove those ... its like someone said the default files for nvidia cards they wont affect your ATi in any way shape or form and IMHO if you changed from Nvidia to ATI then format and start clean ... I even formated for MX420 64mb to my now MSI Ti4200 128mb I did not format right away but I sure noticed a huge diff after I had :)

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
