Number Lock?

Just a quick question. Number lock is turned on automatically when I boot my computer. It is a setting in bios. When I had ME it stayed on after Windows loaded up. Now, with XP it goes off after the splash screen comes up, and stays off until I push the button. Is there anyway to keep this from happening?

This has happened ever since WindowsNT was first released, for some reason windowsNT (includes w2k & XP) seem to override the BIOS settings for the numberlock. But not to fear, once your loggin in under your account, just hit numberlock, then next time you bootup.. you'll notice the light is on, goes off while NT loads, then once your logged in, it will come back again (which is when you need it).

NT saves the setting somewhere.

BTW, when I say NT, I again mean NT,W2k,XP

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
