Nuisance in Favorites...

Hi people,

Does anyone know how to permanently get rid of the horribly annoying (at least to me) "Links" folder that shows up in IE under Favorites? I right-click and delete but when I restart it's right back in there. There is nothing in it's sub-folders, and it's just taking up space right in the middle of the menu.
