Once a HDD is NTFS is it possible to go back to FAT 32?

My new beast came with the HDD in NTFS and I would like to format and dual boot with Win 98se due to compatability issues with XP, ie. games.

Asus P4 Mboard
pent4 2 gig
1000mb Ram
Soundblaster Audigy
DVD etc
G Force 3 TI500

I'd suggest starting from scratch. That way you can put 98 on the primary partition - avoiding the necessity of a third party boot loader. Make your partitions, install 98 on C:\ and then install XP on any other partition... It will automatically setup the bootloader for you.

The only way to return to fat from ntfs non-destructively is with a third party partion manager such as Partition Magic 7.0

I'd agree w/Lonman though - if you got your system pre-partitioned and with the os installed, you might as well start from scratch and set it up the way you want it.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
