Your reputation does not affect your status on the boards in ANY way.
So it really does not matter if you're marked up or down 10,000 points.

I think it's a good thing that you can see who gave you rep points... Not for any retaliation or preferencing someone but this way if a person/member is giving negative rep points for no reason and is abusing this system, they can be brought to account for this said abuse... and delt with. 😀

It's a kind of "checks and balances" thing IMO.
