I don't have much experience with certifications other than the CCNA. I would suggest making sure the company you buy your cert prep from is a really good legit company, and also to check out if Novell themselves offer any cert prep classes, as most companies that offer certs will have those as well.
FWIW, I wouldn't worry about things being "real close to the real exams" - if you are serious about the certs then you should thoroughly know the content - not just become what is referred to as a "paper cert" - which means you don't actually know anything you just memorized the test.
It will come back to bite you, trust me, I've seen it.
