I'm interested in purchasing a ups such as the one above for Australian $485.

I was wondering... it says on that page:

Typical backup time
at half load 14.2 minutes (205 Watts)

Typical backup time
at full load 5.5 minutes (410 Watts)

How many watts does a computer typically use:
eg. Pentium 4 1.4Ghz, Geforce 2mx400
and a 19" Hitachi Flat Screen

What about in a crisis I need to print a document without power- the difference in watt usage of a-
Pentium 2 300 or 266mhz + S3 Virge
14" or 17" monitor

So in other words, how many minutes am I going to get from each machine?

Thanks,
Patrick

with the first machine on that ups, i imagine you'd get 8-10 minutes of time... no more, though, because of the large hungry monitor. on the 2nd machine, maybe upwards of 20 minutes.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
