are your peripheral devices working after you get this msg ?

ie... mouse/keyboard ?

if not then perhaps there is a loose connection some place..

I don't know. This is the weirdest problem that I encountered so far ... Hope someone can help.

It is the memory, I had the same problem before, a friend of mine told me to change the memory, let's say, from the slot 1 to the slot 3 and it worked...
hope it helps you too!

signal input is a monitor problem often times... like said above..

perhaps there is a power connector or some other cable loose...

try and jiggle everything around and reconnect it... perhaps it will make connect...

does it work sometimes and not others or is it always "no signal input "?

It came out everytime I started my PC this last few days. I'm using another PC.

Well the monitor is telling you that the computer isn't sending out any understandable signals. This could be due to:
- Faulty or loose signal cable
- Internal computer problems:
-- Graphics card
-- Anything else

Does the computer beep in any way? See any activity (hdd and such)?

Start pulling stuff if you can. See if that helps. Try replacing the graphics card.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
