No Processes

Hello All : When a prgram I was using crashed i hit (cont_alt_del) to end the
program I noticed that all the tabs were missing and I had no
processes list or cpu_mem info.
Does anyone have an idea what happend and I how I can fix it?
Is this another Gates prank or is it my stupidity?

Hello All : I thank you Hipster_Doofus and TittleBitties for your help. You
both hit the nail on the head. I guess it was a Gates prank and
my own stupidity together .All is back to normal.
