NIC not working after Standby.

I am having serious problems with XP. I have 2 network cards, one on-board and one network PCI card. I went into standby, tried to come out of standby and I couldn't get it to wake up. I had to reset, and after I booted back up, I couldnt get on the Internet. My lights on the back of the card weren't blinking. I opened up the computer and put the network card in another PCI slot, which resolved the problem. Unfortunately, you can't move an onboard network card.

Is there anyway I can get this damn card working again?? The lights on the back of it are actually working... but nothing happening.

maybe in device manager see if nic is there, uninstall it and reboot. should re-find it as new hardware and reinstall the drivers it already has on its own..........

used to have to do that with some picky hardware in 2000........

find the device in device manager and if present select power saving management tab then uncheck box "allow windows to switch of this device to save power"

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
