What? with dual Xeon and 100mbps uplink? :suprised:

Yes, CS:S takes a lot of CPU power and bandwidth. If we look at the current server, it is taking a beating with MySQL, which is why we are upgrading in the first place.

We shall see how long epunk keeps the current server maybe we can get some action going on that while it is still online.

Just a few notes:

The server is currently in the system being installed and setup. I am eagerly awaiting it. Anyone got any good names for it.

ElectronicPunk: Transponder
kcnychief: Susan (I am not much about naming servers after women :p)

Glad to see you fixed the name...

Last time you had it as transpoder...

LOL

:D

Name submission: NanuNanu (spelling check)

and Speedy out of curiosity who is at the end of that TSP email addy?

Name Submission in lieu of Henyman: pr0n

I was hoping for a little more....

I kind of figured it was a spammer...

why not just turn him into AOL if his addy really is an aol address that is...

Another option - NATO aircraft codenames. This is the scheme I currently use for my personal machines.
Again, some of the ones I like:

Aardvark, Blackbird, Cobra, Corsair, Hornet, Lancer, NightHawk, Orion, Phantom, Raptor, Spirit, Tomcat, Valkyrie.

List here: http://www.geocities.com/spacetransport/air-codes.html#BOTTOM

I like:

YF-23 BLACK WIDOW! Its a prototype but I liked the name alot!

NICE!!

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
