New search options

Having downloaded the new windows search facility onto my xp pro pc i now have a problem with searching a cdrom it says that it is not indexed and then does not let me index the cdrom. Any answers?

i think indexing can only be done on hard disks, not on removeable/optical drives.

nice to post a solution to my own post. In very small print and accompanied by the dog we all love and know, you will find bottom left
in the search options a link to the old search which fortunately works on opticals.
