Hehe, running them here - no problems (yet!)

Those look good 3DMarks for a 4200 btw.

Thank you I did that on the MSI K7N2G with this cpu and ram the board was 2 weeks old , I passed that to my kids and have not yet tried with this set-up The Gigabyte is by far faster and more stable when in the high FSB and right now I am at the magic 200 FSB but I am stress testing , I will go for 3dmark when I have found the sweet spot on this rig. And now I have the new drivers to install and I might end up starting over on the overclock , who knows how it will react if I switch out the mobo drivers.

Thanks I always smile when I think about the $120U.S I paid for this card monthes ago I am very pleased at its performance / cost ratio

?????

One does anyone use the Sound Storm chip and what do you think about the drivers and the sound. When I load this version there is a noticed lack in bass and I've gone back to the older drivers. Does anyone have this issue or notice it. Also have I missed steps and maybe the driver is not loading the way it should. I would love to have the fixes for this release but to lose bass to me is not worth it and what does that say about the drivers. Also I hear this flaw is there even other flaws in the old driver. I like the Sound Storm alot but I am so use to the Audigy but again hated their drivers also and lack of updates.

any help would be excellent

thanks

question, you are plugged into the center port right ? I would imagine so. Did you try to select the center in windows sound volume control in the advanced tab ????

I imagine you did all this but just wanted to see if I could help.

I always liked powerstrip's application launcher for that you could create a custom profile for the game in question and when you launch it powerstrip kicks in :)

Thanx Kermit found it. The program is shareware. Do you know what limitations are on it?
