New Monitor

My first post here so I'd like to say lo guys,

Also I would like some advice on where to go when buying a new monior, CRT's o be precise, I was looking at the samsung SM1100DF, I would post a link but it includes a session ID,

I my self have a nice 19" AOC CRT monitor that is excellent, couple of years old now but I got it from downtowncomputers for my birthday.

You might consider a 17" 12ms response time LCD (such as the Samsung 172X) instead of a CRT unless you are using it for professional image editing or cad work etc.

I haven't heard one complaint about Samsung monitors. I bought one 18 months ago and love it.

I strongly recommend viewing any monitor you consider at a local store. And unless there is a serious price difference. Shipping will eat you alive and I don't trust UPS or USPS to not drop kick them around.
