I bought a Abit kx7-333r Board recently and after the first day it died... So im in the market for a new one. I would like to know what everyone thinks the fastest and most stable board that has hit the market. I need something reliable. Now running my old Abit kg7-Rain (Little Slow) Here are the ones I was thinking about:

Gigabyte ga-7vrxp (Read forum and seems to be unstable and read a review from Toms Hardware and he gave it 1st choice..Hmmmmm)

Epox EP-8K3A+

Also I was thinkin of trying a Asus but dont know much about them. Would love to have some ideas. Thanks

Specs..
AMD 2100+ XP
GF4 Ti4600 (Visiontek)
512 MB DDR 2100
2x40 WD 7200 (Raid)
SoundBlaster Audigy Gamer

I would like some help on choosing what would work best with these components as i know video is the hardest thing to have work on a new board.

System is for Gaming Purposes BTW

epox worked fine for my friend....also gaming rig

i like msi mine also gaming rig
tho msi rated pritty low on toms
runs fine for me tho......ya went thru 2 gigabyte boards couldnt get thing to work🙁 oh well

I would check out some of Soyo's Dragon series boards. I have the Dragon Plus! and I love it. Onboard 6-channel surround sound, RAID controller, and Ethernet on all board

Don't forget Asus

Although I think that your ABIT experience is just bad luck, they usually are fine boards, don't forget about Asus. I have had excellent sucess with them and I am currently using their Asus P4S333 and I am very happy with stability and performance.
