Hi Folks,

I have just gotten a brand new macbook Duo 2 core. I was testing a mac mini prior to this as I was interested in moving to mac. Anyway I am loving it. 🙂 One question I have is I currently am using sql server 2005 express edition to learn on and was wondering if I can access it from the macbook? I am using dreamweaver 8 for mac and need to create an odbc connection to the database and so far I have found nothing. So I thought I would ask here and see if someone may have an answer or at least direct me in the right direction.

Any and all help is appreciated.

I did not know Dreamwaver 8 could connect to a database on it's own. If it is through a scripting language like PHP then you can do it. ASP won't run on Mac OS X, and neither will the SQL Server 2005 Express Edition. If you want to play with those, I suggest downloading vmware Fusion and installing a copy of Windows XP Pro inside of it.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
