new linksys firmware screwed up msn file transfer!!

omg! this was a problem with the original firmware it came with (befsr41) and then i got some which fixed it, and now i updated it to resolve the security issue as posted on the front page, but now msn wont connect file transfers again!!! how do i set up the router so it does work? please please help, i am very irritated by linksys's apparent regression. maybe according to them upgrading means TAKING AWAY FUNCTIONALITY?!?!?! YE GODS!

Maybe some of your port forwardings got messed up? Not unusual after a firmware update.

yeah but i didnt have any port forwarding before, it just worked with the previous firmware... so i dont know how to set up port forwarding with messenger.
