I'm going to be building a new computer this month and I need help deciding on a graphics card. I was going to go with the Nvidia 8800 line but I had heard that the new DX10 B or C that they are working on wont support that card and with the new DX11 coming out in late 08 should I go light on the graphics card until more options for DX11 shows up.

take a peek at the 8800GT 512MB. Nice and fast and at a reasonable price point I think. Hasn't struggled with anything I've given it yet.

It would be worth waiting a little longer if you want to buy an 8 series Geforce card - price drops might be just around the corner if this news it to be believed. It doesn't seem ludicrous enough to be an April Fool joke.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
