New Game-App Idea

I just had an idea of an app that could run in the systray which with any keystroke made a window come up which could play any .wav, .mp3, .ogg, etc. Kinda like Fraps which enables video and audio capture and can display fps in any corner of the screen.

Does this already exist ? Let me know...

now that would be most grüvy... and if someone could pull it off without sapping too much memory, that would be even better...(especially since running the game, winamp, and a prog for VoD recording isnt very system friendly... cough AOM LAN parties cough )

Yes if it can't be done without stealing all the memory then it wouldn't even be worth the effort to try it.

So I guess it doesn't exist ?
