I would skimp out on the ram and hard drive, dell over charges for both.

just under £1300 deliverd . only reason i selected media center is because the the vista upgrade ;)

am just sorting out finances before i order it, prob tomorrow.

currently have an 80GB hardrive + have looooads of free space, even with all the pr0n on it

Could always spring for a 200GB external Maxtor One Touch III - I believe it's around $125 from Dell.

Ram slots are totaly ****ed, the clips have broken. i did have a tempory fix in place but thats no good either now :(

nah, it's had 3+ years of hard abuse :p
We don't want to hear it! :s :p

Just gone and built myself a new dual core shuttle pc, well cool and only cost me "just" shy of £800. :D

Nice, very nice! And has been said you can always just get an external HDD if needs be.

Rush - when are you coming to Norwich?! You keep saying next time, next time, but you never tell me! :dead:

Boo-yeah. Come to the Golden Star on the corner of Duke Street and Colegate for a quick drink.
That's the weekend before my birthday, too. :)

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
